A. FACULTY OF ARTS
All candidates who possess five credits (5) passes in relevant O’ Level subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than TWO sittings and not less than 21 years of age are eligible to apply.

B. FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (MASS COMMUNICATION)

5 Year Programme
Five (5) credits passes in O’Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Literature in English and any other two (2) credit passes from any other discipline at not more than Two Sittings

4 Year Programme
Diploma Certificate in Mass Communication from University of Lagos or from other accredited University recognized by the Senate of the University of Lagos with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 and above on a 5 point scale; and also fulfilled the requirements in (1) above.

3 Year Programme
HND in Mass Communication from accredited Polytechnics and Monotechnics at credit pass with 2- year Post HND professional experience. The candidate must be registered member of relevant Regulatory Agencies and/or Professional Bodies such as APCON, NIPR, NUJ, etc. The candidate must similarly satisfy the requirements in (1) above.

UNILAG INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION ADMISSION – METHOD OF APPLICATION.

Application forms are obtainable online via the University of Lagos website, http://www.unilag.edu.ng, using ATM/Cash/Dedicated Teller obtainable on payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) only paid into any Bank within the campus using the Treasury Single Account (TSA) via Remita Platform.

UNIUYO PRE-DEGREE ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS.
Candidates must possess credit pass in at least five (5) “O” level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Agricultural Science is accepted in place of Biology for Agricultural Science Education and Agriculture candidates only), at not more than two sittings in the SSCE (WAEC/NECO, GCE or NABTEB).
Candidates seeking admission into programmes in the Faculty of Agriculture should possess at least five (5) “O” Level Credit passes in NECO, WASC/GCE including Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language and any one of Economics, Geography or Physics. At least a Pass in Physics is acceptable.
Candidates for admission into Agricultural Science Education must possess five (5) “O” Level credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Biology (or Agricultural Science), Mathematics and any other subject.
Candidates for admission into Home Economics Education should possess five “O” Level Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and any other subject.

NOTE: JAMB score is not required for admission into this programme.

MAJOR COURSE REQUIREMENT

All successful candidates will be required to register for and take the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) into programmes of their choices from the list provided in A to C above.

Note:

  3. Candidates who up-load wrong bio-data will automatically be disqualified.

Candidates are required to come for the screening exercise with the following items:
One (1) copy of the University of Uyo 2017 ONLINE registration form dully completed with the passport-size photograph printed in color.

Two (2) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the online registration) with the name and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photographs. Nigerian Air Force Direct Short Service Cadets (DSSC) has announced it's Recruitment form for the year 2017. Online Registration starts on 18 May, 2017 and closes 15 June, 2017. Application is free!!!

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is enlisting graduates and post-graduates for training as Direct Short Service Cadets.


NIGERIAN AIR FORCE DSSC RECRUITMENT – ELIGIBILITY.
All applicants must be Nigerians, not less than 1.66m tall for male and not less than 1.63m tall for female. Applicant should be between 22 and 30 years by 31 December 2017 (22-35 for Consultants).


NIGERIAN AIR FORCE DSSC RECRUITMENT – QUALIFICATIONS.
Interested applicants must possess Bachelor’s Degree with second class Upper division or HND with Upper credit in the following fields: B Ed in Mathematics, English, Guidance & Counselling (Female), Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science, BSc/BA Electrical Electronic Engineering (IT Specialist), Peace & Conflict Resolution, Sociology, Psychology and Physical and Health Education; Medical Doctors (Consultants, Medical officers and Dental Officers, BSc Nursing (Any other qualification in Nursing field such as ICU, A&E, Theater, Ophthalmic and Anesthetic will be an added advantage. National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2017 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course will commence from Tuesday, May 23 to Monday, June 12, 2017. See other important information below.

The 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream I) Orientation Course is scheduled to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide as follows:

i. Commencement of Registration: Tuesday, 23rd May, 2017

ii. Cut-off date for Registration: 12 midnight, Wednesday, 24th May, 2017

iii. Swearing-In Ceremony: Thursday, 25th May, 2017

iv. Official Closing Ceremony: Monday, 12th June, 2017


2. PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS POSTED TO BORNO STATE ARE TO REPORT FOR THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME IN THE CAMP VENUE INDICATED IN THEIR CALL-UP LETTERS.

3. All prospective corps members slated for the 2017 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective Camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the Camp with their traveling Passport for Identification as well as their Transcript for verification.


4. In the event of any loss of Call-up Letter, the Corps member who collected the Call-up letter from his/her Institution is advised to obtain Police Report and Sworn Affidavit, thereafter, report to the Institution of graduation for further necessary action.


Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can re-print the Call-up Letters as many times as they want in the case of loss.

UNILAG JUPEB ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

A minimum of FIVE credits (English Language, Mathematics and three relevant subjects) obtained in one sittingat the SSCE/WASSC, GCE/O/L, NECO with results obtained before registration.

University of Lagos has zero tolerance for drug abuse, sexual harassment, examination malpractice and other anti-social behavior. All admitted students will undergo compulsory medical test.

on the prospective students menu, click on the School of Foundation Studies
go through the information on subject combinations relevant to your proposed choice of course of study for Direct Entry admission.
complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a payment reference number (PRN) using the applicant’s names.

For University of Lagos Staff Children:
Click the staff biological child link, provide 5 digit staff ID number and select appropriate name on the staff children list to obtain a payment reference number (PRN).
Cost of Application Form (including on line practice tests (excluding Bank Charges)): N25, 000.00 (non-refundable).
Make payment at any Commercial bank in Nigeria with the payment reference number (PRN)

– Return to the University website, click on School of Foundation Studies and click on continue Application. Log in with PRN and applicant’s surname in lowercase as password.

– Complete the application form, print two copies and bring along to the entrance examination on 10th – 14th July, 2017

All Questions are Multiple Choice.
Examination subjects are: Mathematics, English Language (20 questions each) and 3 other relevant subjects (according to candidates choice of subject combination) of 15 questions each, that is, a total of 85 questions to be answered in 1 hour.
Students are to report at designated venues – according to the schedule on the ExaminationPass.
All candidates must be at the designated venues two hours before the scheduled Examinationtime.

Results: Results and Merit Admission will be released on the University website on Tuesday, 25th July , 2017.

This is to inform all the University Students that participated in the NNPC/TOTAL scholarship selection test conducted on Saturday December 3, 2016 at various centres nationwide that the list of successful students have been released.

The National Merit Scholarship is sponsored by both TUPNI and Partners for (OML 130) Asset as well as TEPNG/NNPC and Partners for JV Onshore/Offshore.

Successful candidates shall be contacted by their email addresses while hardcopies shall be sent through the office of the Dean of Students Affairs of their Institution.

Total will enter into correspondence with only the shortlisted successful candidate.


NOTE TO SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES.
Scanned copies of your Award letter and your Acceptance Form have been sent to the email addresses of the successful applicants. The original hard copies of the two documents shall be sent through the Head of Department. Please check with him/her in the coming days to collect them.

Successful candidates are advised to read the documents thoroughly and conform to all the instructions

Among other instructions, successful candidates you are required to complete the Acceptance Form and return to us within four (4) weeks from the date of their Award letter. Failure to return the Acceptance Form duly completed and signed within this period voids the offer. Late return is not entertained and we shall not enter into any further correspondence with such candidate.

Also the Head of Department or Dean of Faculty or Dean of Student Affairs, (whichever is available/accessible within this period), must complete and sign their portion of the Acceptance Form. The Form is incomplete and void without their attestation that the candidate is a current registered student of the school.

It is very important that the bank information section of the Acceptance Form is completed and duly signed by the Bank Official, confirming the bank account details, including the bank account number and the BVN, etc., and particularly confirming that the said account is not a ‘student’ account or limited in any way or by any code as not to be able to accept the scholarship payment. Failure to ensure this process may delay the payments.
